Kenora Optometry Clinic

Services

Exceptional Vision Care. Community Oriented. Patient Education.

Comprehensive Eye Examinations

Our comprehensive eye exam includes testing vision, binocular vision, need for glasses or contact lenses, change in prescription, and an assessment of ocular health. If further ocular health testing is required, we may be screening for or monitoring existing eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and much more.

Glaucoma Management

Our clinic has an OCT-A and Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer to screen for and monitor glaucoma.

Diabetic Retinopathy Screenings

It is recommended to have your eyes examined once every year. Screenings require a dilated eye exam and a retinal scan if diabetic retinopathy is suspected.

Paediatric Eye Exams

We care for eyes of all ages! We recommend your child have their first eye exam at six months old and annually after that.

Emergent Eye Care

We triage and accept patients having acute trouble with their eyes. This includes foreign body in the eyes, sudden vision loss, flashes and floaters, etc. Please give our office a call to book an appointment.
If concerns with your eyes arise during evenings or weekends, we recommend you visit your doctor, nurse practitioner, or the local emergency room.

Referrals

We are happy to refer for refractive consultations including LASIK, PRK, RLE, ICL, and more.
At your optometrists discretion, they may make a referral to an ophthalmologist, primary care physician, or nurse practitioner to best take care of your eyes and health.

Post-Operative Care

We provide post-operative care following cataract surgery, LASIK, PRK, etc.
